A dedicated and passionate instructor, Harley has taught a variety of college courses as the Assistant Professor of Art and Community Engagement at Florida Gulf Coast University and as an adjunct professor at Point Park University and Youngstown State University. Courses taught include :

Samsung Workshops
As a Samsung Content Creator, Harley was the host of several teaching workshops. This work includes a week-long project in Ghana, where Harley and the Samsung team taught photography to women and girls in rural Ghana, giving them the tools to tell their own story. This project was a collaboration between Samsung and Lensational.

Community Photography Workshops and Symposiums
Embracing virtual learning, Harley has hosted several community photography workshops for youth and adults. These workshops include film photography and weekend workshops and introductions to the history of photography. Harley continues to develop arts-based community education efforts, both online and in person.
