Textiles Unleashed

The exhibition showcases a wide range of 2D and 3D quilt artworks, and highlights the diverse styles and techniques of an art form that prioritizes aesthetic value over utility. Juried by Germany-based artist Isabelle Wiessler, this exhibition captured the new approaches to fiber-based artworks in a curatorial display that mirrors traditional quilt patterns. In collaboration with the Studio Art Quilt Associates, this exhibition has been well-attended and reguarded as one of the best displays of fiber arts in Pennsylvania in 2023.
